There are many different types of medications available for symptoms of erectile dysfunction, but there are few that work as quickly and effectively as TriMix injections can. With TriMix injections, studies have shown that many men experience longer and fuller erections within just 5 minutes (or less) that last all the way through climax. An injectable alternative to consumable PDE5 pills, TriMix has a 90% success rate, compared to only a 60% success rate for oral ED medications.
TriMix consists of three drugs: phentolamine, papaverine and alprostadil, which can trigger an automatic erection in just minutes, unlike oral medications that may take an average of an hour to even start working. Although the penis is a sensitive area, many men are surprised to find that the discomfort that comes with injections is very minimal. TriMix injections are administered in the shaft of the penis (not the head), which actually has very few nerve endings. Most men who use TriMix adjust quickly to the injections after the first use. The most common benefits of TriMix injections vs. its alternatives include:
- More reliable than alternatives (90% success rate)
- Quick, long-lasting results in minutes
- Consuming alcohol does not significantly alter the medication’s effectiveness
- More affordable than other oral alternatives, often just a few dollars per dose
- Easy to store (simply refrigerate medication in use and freeze medication to be used later)
- Safe to use for those with diabetes, heart problems or circulation issues, as well as those who’ve had prostate surgery, prostate removal or prostate cancer
Is TriMix safe to use?
Yes. Since 1983, intracavernous injections like TriMix have proven to be the most effective non-surgical treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED), according to the American Urologic Association.
How long do the results last?
After administering a TriMix injection, erections achieved should last between one and two hours. Many users do not experience erections that exceed this timeframe. However, if you experience an erection that lasts longer than two hours, it’s important to apply the antidote to the medication, which is called Phenylephrine. Phenylephrine is applied the same way the TriMix medication is applied.
First, draw up air into the syringe. Then, insert the syringe into the vial of Phenylephrine. Slowly draw back 50 units of Phenylephrine into the syringe. Pull the syringe straight out of the vial and then re-cap the front of the syringe. Inject one inch above the base of the penis at the 10 o’clock or 2 o’clock position. Make sure to avoid injecting into any veins. Similar to the application of TriMix, you’ll want to massage the area of entry where you administered the antidote for about one minute right after it’s applied. You may also use an ice pack. If your erection still persists after another hour, seek immediate medical attention.
