What is TriMix?

As claimed by the American Urological Association, intracavernous injections (like TriMix) are currently the most effective non-surgical option for treating symptoms of erectile dysfunction (ED)  in men today. TriMix is a great alternative to PDE5 inhibitor tablets and is an ideal option for men who haven’t had good results with Viagra®, Levitra®, Cialis® or other similar medications. TriMix injections are comprised of three vasodilators. When the medication is injected into the penis, it can cause the corpus cavernosum to become relaxed and dilate, which allows it to expand and fill with blood. Depending on your specific body type and individual needs, the dosage can vary. The initial dose should be 0.05 cc to 0.2 cc, depending on the level of ED. Wait 48 hours before increasing dosage. Increase by 0.025 cc to 0.050 cc until a satisfactory dose is reached. The maximum dose is 0.50 cc. Do not be discouraged by a poor result with the first few injections, as the initial dose should be kept low to avoid a prolonged erection. TriMix injections are very customized to suit the patient’s needs. Olympia will work together with the physician and patient to develop a TriMix injection formula that is most effective for the individual patient. Still need more information? TriMix & Symptoms of ED

Worried Senior Man Sitting on CouchTo know if TriMix injections are right for you, it’s important to know what erectile dysfunction (ED) is and what its common symptoms are. Erectile dysfunction can be a  result of andropause—often called “male menopause” or “Low-T”—which is a lack of testosterone in aging men. Other than erectile dysfunction, symptoms of andropause may include:

  • Fatigue and irritability
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Loss of muscle strength
  • Reduced sex drive
  • Osteoporosis
  • Heart disease
  • Insomnia

Erectile dysfunction is very common among older men—especially those who are 40+. In fact, it affects somewhere between 15 and 30 million men just in the United States alone, growing by more than 500,000 every year. Any medical condition that affects circulation can bring the onset of mild to extreme erectile dysfunction. This includes diabetes, atherosclerosis, heart or kidney disease. TriMix is a safe, reliable and easy-to-administer medication that can help treat these symptoms of ED, as well as some symptoms of andropause. TriMix vs. Other ED Medications

There are many different types of medications available for symptoms of erectile dysfunction, but there are few that work as quickly and effectively as TriMix injections can. With TriMix injections, studies have shown that many men experience longer and fuller erections within just 5 minutes (or less) that last all the way through climax. An injectable alternative to consumable PDE5 pills, TriMix has a 90% success rate, compared to only a 60% success rate for oral ED medications. TriMix consists of three drugs: phentolamine, papaverine and alprostadil, which can trigger an automatic erection in just minutes, unlike oral medications that may take an average of an hour to even start working. Although the penis is a sensitive area, many men are surprised to find that the discomfort that comes with injections is very minimal. TriMix injections are administered in the shaft of the penis (not the head), which actually has very few nerve endings. Most men who use TriMix adjust quickly to the injections after the first use. The most common benefits of TriMix injections vs. its alternatives include:

  • More reliable than alternatives (90% success rate)
  • Quick, long-lasting results in minutes
  • Consuming alcohol does not significantly alter the medication’s effectiveness
  • More affordable than other oral alternatives, often just a few dollars per dose
  • Easy to store (simply refrigerate medication in use and freeze medication to be used later)
  • Safe to use for those with diabetes, heart problems or circulation issues, as well as those who’ve had prostate surgery, prostate removal or prostate cancer

How to Inject TriMix

A line of five TriMix injection bottles and one bottle flipped on its side with an injection needle laying on topWhen administered appropriately, TriMix injections can be quick and pain-free, as commonly confirmed by its users. Follow these easy steps and start seeing TriMix in action:

  • First, ensure that you have washed your hands and penis to ensure proper hygiene before the injection.
  • Once you’ve properly assembled the medication, find the proper location on the shaft of the penis to inject, which is located between the base and the mid-portion of the penis. Avoid any visible veins as well as the midline of the penis. You want to aim slightly to the left or right of the midline in order to prevent potential damage to the urethra or penile arteries.
  • Grasp and pull the head of the penis toward the side of your leg with the index finger and thumb (use the left hand, if right handed). While maintaining light tension, select a site for injection.
  • With a steady and continuous motion, penetrate the skin with the needle at a 90-degree angle. The needle should then be advanced to the hub. Slight resistance is encountered as the needle passes into the proper position within the erectile tissue (corporeal body).
  • Inject the TriMix medication into the corpus cavernosum for approximately 4 seconds. Once the needle is in, you should pull it back a little until a small amount of blood flows back into the syringe. When injecting, you should feel the about the same amount of pressure as you would by simply injecting it into the air (minimal resistance). If there’s greater pressure than that, it’s being applied to the wrong spot.
  • Withdraw the needle from the penis and apply compression to the injection site for approximately 1 minute. Several minutes of compression may be required to avoid bleeding, especially if you use aspirin or are prescribed blood thinners.
  • Replace the cap on the needle and dispose of properly.
